Kate is an Independent Retail Management Consultant residing in Chicago, IL. She spent over ten years managing shopping centers for large developers such as; Westfield, CBL, and Starwood Retail Partners. She moved throughout the Midwest leading multi-faceted teams responsible for mall operations, marketing, lease administration/accounting, specialty leasing and tenant coordination. During this time she refined her skills as a project leader and industry expert.
Kate transitioned to the aviation industry as the Director of Strategy and Development for the concession programs at O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport. In the Director role, she oversaw the tenant design review team, tenant construction projects, all concession marketing efforts and contributed to the Midway Redevelopment RFP, released in 2015.
Currently, as the founder of Creative Compass Consulting, Inc., she leads clients through the endeavor of redesigning operational processes and procedures for maximum returns. Current project scopes include communication and negotiation across multidivisional teams, software solution integration, and C-suite reporting.
