RETAIL CENTERS

Brand Campaign

STAMFORD TOWN CENTER

A newly purchased mall in downtown Stamford CT needed a brand campaign that would grab attention. Through on the ground research in the local market, we were able to build key customer personas. This included cultural trends driving retail real estate and shopping behaviors. Through our brand campaign work, we reconnected this property to the cultural moment and built instant relevancy, competitive differentiation and momentum for the brand.

Customer & Employee Experience

STARWOOD RETAIL PROPERTIES - LIVE 360

Starwood Retail centers were churning customers. To fix this, we needed to understand how Starwood centers fit into customers’ lives. We hit the ground observing and intercepting Starwood guests, and then invited key customers in to design their ideal future experience. This resulted in a customer experience strategy that reconnected the Starwood organization to their customers’ needs and drove relevancy back into their brand and customer experience.

GREEN GROWTH BRANDS - CAMP

Green Growth Brands (GGB), a successful retail holding company wanted to enter into the Cannabis industry and reinvent the dispensary experience. GGB hired RGI to design the new dispensary retail experience for one of their brands called CAMP. We researched and shopped a range of existing dispensary experiences in California, Colorado and Washington to gain an intimate understanding of the current customer experience. Pulling from proven retail principles we re-engineered the dispensary to create a superior customer experience and business results.

RETAIL & ENTERTAINMENT

BARK SOCIAL

Retail Store Design

Bark Social came to us to design their first retail store. It is a unique dog park with amenities such as TV’s, events, beer, wine, food, and now retail. We took a look at Bark and immediately saw the magic that happens when dogs and dog lovers have a place to gather. We have designed their Baltimore and Philadelphia stores and are starting work on their brand communications.

THE BOOT BARN: HAWX WORK WEAR

Research I Brand Development I Brand Identity

When Boot Barn’s workwear division needed fixing, our research took us to oil fields and construction sites to identify and understand customers’ needs. HAWX is what followed–a successful, meaningful, designed–from–scratch brand with a “we got your back” promise and unrivaled levels of customer service.

CHICAGO O’HARE AIRPORT

The concessions team at O’Hare was looking for a way to shift perceptions without an expensive redesign. The visual landscape was out of date, creating a negative impression. However, looking more closely one quickly finds that there are many hidden gems. We created the “at O’Hare” campaign to help travelers find the extraordinary products around them.
